Earlier, I was chatting with an engineer about learning. He said something that made me (literally) LAUGH OUT LOUD and I just want to share it.

I'm sorry if this seems so mean, but this is just for laughs.

E: maybe psych is not always right
E: that you don't memorize with your mind
E: dapat with your heart
E: diba
E: haha

a17een: LOL! pano ka magmmemorize with your heart?! sige nga?

E: siguro parang make a song out of it
E: haha

a17een: hahaha. hindi naman heart yun. the heart cannot think!
a17een: the heart pumps blood, yun lang.
a17een: hahaha.. memorize din yun e.

E: lam naman natin na ang heart is ginagawang symbol for emotions

a17een: emotions, feel :)  how can you learn with feeling?

E: sagutin ko yan pagkakain hehe
E: kain muna kami

I ♥ MY DAD

HAPPY 65th BIRTHDAY, PAPA!!!

I know this may be so biased but I do really think that I have the sweetest, most gentle, and most loving dad in the whole wide world.

He cries when one of us leaves the country. Heck, he even cries on our graduations. (He cries a lot and to see a tough guy crying, it's just too much for me to handle - makes me cry as well.)

When I said that he's tough, he really is to the truest sense of the word. One obvious reason is that he could stand my mother. My mother is the most talkative unappreciative person ever, and having to live with her for more than half of his life is just too martyr-some, or as I said, very brave and enduring of him. LOL!

Moreover, I love the fact that we have the same view on the most essential things - life, love, money, politics, etc. Just not on religion! Haha! But, boy, we talk about everything. He even talked to me about his hardships and how much difficulty he's having with raising us. It's very hard not to cry when talking to him, but I love our talks.

Siiigh.. he's like an OAK TREE - a sturdy tree which stands strong despite every storm. Hahaha :))

To the sweetest dad in the whole universe,

I LOVE YOU! And you'll always be the number 1 man in my heart! ♥

Love,
Your favorite little girl :)

PS: Okay, sorry for the fleeting, very vague, and weird train of thoughts. Haha. I'm having a hard time constructing sentences lately.
