Today, I went to see my highschool friend in the hospital. She gave birth yesterday, 16th day of April 2009. No one knew she was pregnant until January of this year.

Early this year, I was told that another highschool friend is expecting a child this coming June. Her boyfriend refused to accompany her in telling her parents about it.

The saddest thing about it, we're just 21.

//* Being aware of all these, irritates the hell out of me. Why get pregnant when you're perfectly aware that you're not ready for such responsibility yet? Why get pregnant while you're still in college? Why get pregnant with a guy you're not sure you're going to spend forever with? Arg. It's stupid!!! I don't mean to sound so much like a Maria Clara, but why can't they abstain until they're married? Human beings are considered the highest of all species because they have reason. Why not use that reason? Why be like all the other lower form of animals who survive with their instincts?
